GOOFBALL Playoffs - The draft for the GOOFBALL Fantasy Football League Playoffs has taken place, and the new league has been created.  You can check it out here.

League Fees - The regular season has ended, and there are still FOUR teams that haven't paid their league fees!  The league started over three months ago, and the following teams have yet to pay a lousy $15 to participate:

  • The Stooges
  • Strength and Honor
  • Barnesie's Boyz
  • Spirit of St. Louis

Fantasy Recap - Game Of The Week
My Little Pwnies (126) at Moobs (122)

(MyFantasyLeague.com Fantasy Times Sources - Jan 3, 2010) In a week 17 GOOFBALL Fantasy Football League intra-divisional showdown, My Little Pwnies squeaked by a tough Moobs team by a score of 126 to 122, extending the winning streak for My Little Pwnies to 3 games.

My Little Pwnies were led to their 4 point victory by a 41 point effort from Jamaal Charles, who tore apart the Denver Broncos defense for 259 rushing yards and 2 rushing TDs in addition to 3 receiving yards. With this performance, Charles was the number 1 ranked overall fantasy scorer for week 17. They also got help from a 21 point effort from Houston Texans.

"I'm happy I could make a contribution," My Little Pwnies coach Scott Tucker said.

Moobs were helped out in a losing cause by a 38 point effort from Willis McGahee, who beat the Oakland Raiders defense for 167 rushing yards and 3 rushing TDs. With this performance, McGahee was the number 2 ranked overall fantasy scorer for week 17. They also got help from a 23 point effort from the Minnesota Vikings Defensive Team.

"Turnovers killed us," Moobs coach Mike McWethy said.

Adding salt to the wound, Moobs could have scored 153 points and earned the win with their best lineup, but Mike McWethy left key players like Buffalo Bills and his corresponding 20 points on the bench.

Moobs drew the short straw with their schedule this week, as their point total would have resulted in a win against 16 out of 16 other potential opponents in week 17.

This brings the record for My Little Pwnies to 10-7, and drops Moobs to a record of 7-10.
