Bye Weeks -  They're over!  'Nuff said.

Early Game - The early games, however, continue.  This week, the Miami Dolphins travel to Carolina to take on the Panthers on Thursday night, with kickoff scheduled for 8:20 pm.  If you have any players from these teams on your rosters, their status (starting lineup or bench) is locked as soon as the Thursday game begins.  If you want to move one of these players from your starting lineup to your bench or vice-versa, you need to do it before the game kicks off on Thursday.  By the way, the game will only be shown on the NFL Network, so maybe you can watch it, and maybe you can't.

League Fees - We are now two-thirds of the way through the season, and there are still NINE teams that haven't paid their league fees!  That amounts to half of the entire league that has yet to pay a lousy $15 to participate.  Please pay promptly, so I can remove the "Acct Bal" column from the standings.  Thank you.

Temporary Insanity were led to their 6 point victory by a 28 point effort from New England Patriots. With this performance, Patriots was the number 2 ranked team quarterback for week 10. They also got help from a 26 point effort from Adrian Peterson, who beat the Detroit Lions defense for 133 rushing yards and 2 rushing TDs in addition to 10 receiving yards.

"We shocked the world," Temporary Insanity coach Gary Bartley said.

After Further Review were helped out in a losing cause by a 23 point effort from Steven Jackson, who beat the New Orleans Saints defense for 131 rushing yards and 1 rushing TD in addition to 45 receiving yards. With this performance, Jackson was the number 6 ranked running back for week 10. They also got help from a 17 point effort from New Orleans Saints.

"We only have to look in the mirror," After Further Review coach Dave Vawter said.

Adding salt to the wound, After Further Review could have scored 109 points and earned the win with their best lineup, but Dave Vawter left key players like Denver Broncos and his corresponding 19 points on the bench.

This brings the record for Temporary Insanity to 5-6, and drops After Further Review to a record of 6-4.

Coming up in week 11, the 4-7 Howie's Heroes are at Temporary Insanity, where Temporary Insanity are an early 8.2-point underdog, while After Further Review are at the 6-4 The Silverback, where The Silverback are an early 0.2-point favorite.
