Fantasy Preview - Game Of The Week
        RAVENS at BEARS

(MyFantasyLeague.com Fantasy Times Sources - Dec 28, 2010) Coming up in a week 17 NATIONAL FANTASY LEAGUE classic, the 10-3 RAVENS, who hope to extend their 5 game winning streak, face off against the 5-8 BEARS.

        Michael Turner

RAVENS were led in week 16 by a 13 point effort from Paul Posluszny, who beat the New England Patriots offense for 7 tackles. In addition, Trent Cole was not injured before the start of his week 16 game, and contributed 11 points, but he's listed as out in week 17 due to an injured none , which might severely limit his fantasy production. Based on projections from FantasySharks.com, RAVENS can expect a 24 point effort from Michael Turner in week 17, who is expected to beat the Carolina Panthers defense for 115 rushing yards and 2 rushing TDs in addition to 10 receiving yards.

"We have to eliminate the mental mistakes," RAVENS coach Rey Rey said.

BEARS were led in week 16 by a 22 point effort from Jay Cutler, who got by the New York Jets defense for 215 passing yards and 3 passing TDs in addition to 3 rushing yards. Based on projections from FantasySharks.com, BEARS can expect a 19 point effort from Ray Rice in week 17, who is expected to get by the Cincinnati Bengals defense for 85 rushing yards and 1 rushing TDs in addition to 55 receiving yards.

"Statistics tell the whole story," BEARS coach Ryan said.

In week 6, RAVENS defeated BEARS by 28 points, so coach Ryan is looking for revenge this week. In the 3-year history of this rivalry, RAVENS hold a 3-0-0 all-time series record against BEARS.

Fantasy Recap - Game Of The Week
        RAVENS (94) at BEARS (29)

(MyFantasyLeague.com Fantasy Times Sources - Jan 2, 2011) In a week 17 NATIONAL FANTASY LEAGUE rivalry, RAVENS embarrassed a hapless BEARS team by a score of 94 to 29, extending the winning streak for RAVENS to 5 games. With their 94 points, RAVENS is now the proud record-holder of the 10th-highest weekly point total in league history.

        Umenyiora, Osi NYG DE
        Osi Umenyiora

RAVENS were led to their 65 point victory by a 31 point effort from Osi Umenyiora, who beat the Washington Redskins offense for 3 tackles and 2.0 sacked a qb. With this performance, Umenyiora was the number 4 ranked defensive end for week 17. They also got help from a 18 point effort from Reggie Wayne, who snuck past the Tennessee Titans defense for 68 receiving yards and 1 receiving TD.

"I'm really proud of the way our guys hung in there," RAVENS coach Rey Rey said.

BEARS were helped out in a losing cause by a 13 point effort from Ray Rice, who got by the Cincinnati Bengals defense for 77 rushing yards and 1 rushing TD. They also got help from a 10 point effort from Brian Urlacher, who beat the Green Bay Packers offense for 3 tackles.

"We'll just have to put this loss behind us," BEARS coach Ryan said.

BEARS drew the short straw with their schedule this week, as their point total would have resulted in a win against 10 out of 10 other potential opponents in week 17.

This brings the record for RAVENS to 10-3, and drops BEARS to a record of 5-8.
